Context: On February 28, 2026, the first day of the 2026 Iran war, there were multiple missile strikes on and in the vicinity of the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school in Minab, Iran. Resulting in the killing of children. Fatalities reported after recovery efforts claim to have confirmed 66 boys; 54 girls, 26 teachers, and four parents had died.
