Informed by artist, poet Cecilia Vicuña’s (b. 1948, Santiago, Chile) interpretation of the quipu, an ancient Inca device for recording information, consisting of variously colored threads knotted in different ways… and in another sense, migrants’ journeys, people seeking a safe place to begin to rebuild their lives.
