Other Work
Based upon an invite by the Evanston Art Center to create a work that responded to the history of the lighthouse monument adjacent to their property. The light's purpose was as a navigational aid: to mark the distance (10 miles) from there (HERE) to the mouth of the Chicago River (THERE). The forms & material refer to the flow & drift of the water, weather, shoreline, and the spirit of commerce to harness and overcome all. Installed on their front lawn from May to May, 2014 -15.
